A disappointing defeat in the Old Firm derby at Celtic Park means that Rangers will almost certainly miss out on the Premiership title but they can at least give their fans something to cheer about when they host Dundee at Ibrox on Tuesday.
The Gers have lost just two of their last 20 home matches in all competitions – with only one these coming in the league – while they also boast a dominant record over Dundee at Ibrox, winning each of their last 17 home head-to-heads stretching back to August 2001, conceding just five goals across this run.
The Dee have won just two of their last 11 league matches and they have failed to impress in front of goal in recent weeks, scoring just twice across their last five fixtures.
Rangers are used to winning to nil at home against Dundee – as they have done so in five of their last six meetings – and the hosts should be able to achieve a similar feat on Tuesday. The Gers have scored at least three goals in each of their last three games at Ibrox and so a 3-0 home victory draws a lot of appeal.
