Can Partick continue their playoff run?
The Scottish Championship playoffs continue on Tuesday night, as Livingston return to action following an 11-day break. The visitors sat out as the third and fourth-placed sides in the division faced off, with Partick upsetting Ayr United to progress to the second-round.
Partick finished eight points behind Ayr and they booked their playoff spot on the final day with a 1-0 at Livingston. The winner of this clash will go on to play the second-bottom side in the Scottish Premiership next, with Livingston heavy favourites to feature after pushing title-winners Falkirk to the final day.
However, Partick dented Livingston’s title hopes and they avoided defeat in three of the four meetings between the sides this term. The hosts had an impressive home record against the league’s stronger sides, going unbeaten in 10 clashes with the top six.
