An interesting duel is played between two teams that are in the relegation zone. The only difference is that Elche is already too sorry and it would take a real miracle to avoid moving to Segunda. Elche really hasn't improved much under their third coach of the season, Pablo Machin. They remain bottom with just four points. And they still remain the only team that has not yet managed to win in La Liga!!! This year, they play disastrously away from home, and in the Spanish Cup a few days ago, they were eliminated by Ceuta, who is the last-placed team in the third division, with only eight points. Elche has by far the worst defense in the league and a very poor attack. Coach Pablo Machin will have a lot of problems motivating the team in this difficult visit against a team that still has a chance to fight for survival. Elche travels to Cadiz without starting center-back Pedro Bigas and that could be a big problem. Another problem is that Cadiz has been in great form since the beginning of the year. They played a very good friendly game in which Roma and Man Utd won, which was really a surprise considering where Cadiz is on the table. Those games certainly gave confidence to the team, which then played a draw with Almeria at home and beat Valencia on the road with a minimal score. Now Cadiz has a chance to get out of the relegation zone, they are playing against the worst team in the league and this is a must-win game for them. Ruben Alcaraz is in great form, scoring 3 goals in 5 games and along with Alvaro Negredo and Alex Fernandez will lead the Cadiz attack. Cadiz is on nice run of the results and if they want to stay in the league they have to start winning games at home. I believe this team is at good momentum and they will find a way to outscore poor Elche.
