After a fantastic performance in the derby against Juventus and a convincing 5-1 victory, Napoli clearly highlighted their candidacy for the top spot at the end of the season. This will be their second mutual match, the first one was played at the beginning of October and Napoli was more than convincing, achieving a convincing victory of 4-1. A similar result can be expected even today, because Napoli really seem unstoppable, especially on their own pitch, which they really turned into an impregnable fortress. How dangerous they are in their stadium is best shown by the fact that they mostly saw off their opponents with several goals in the net. In fact, the Neapolitans have scored at least three goals in 7 of their last 8 home games. Cremonese looks lifeless in this year's edition of Serie A. Namely, the club from Lombardy is the only one in the Italian championship that has not yet managed to taste the taste of victory - seven draws and 11 defeats. They have serious and huge problems at both ends of the field. Their attacking line is extremely inefficient, scoring only 13 goals and only Sampdoria scored fewer goals than them in Serie A (8). Their defense is also desperate, so with 32 goals conceded they are by far the weakest in that parameter. In addition to the fact that they are very dominant in the championship, Napoli will certainly want to transfer their dominance to the cup as well. It may happen that Spalletti decides to rest some players in this match, but even the players who may not always be in the first 11 for Napoli are still high quality players and I think they will have no problem achieving another convincing victory at home.
