Fiorentina and Torino are lock on points in the middle of the Serie A standings going into their Matchday No 19 fixture on Saturday evening at Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Neither team will enter the tie on a high, following their weak performances in the last weekend’s games.
Fiorentina’s right-back Dodo got sent off midway through the first half of the clash against Roma and it was pretty much game over from that point on for I Viola in the capital.
It ended in Roma’s 2-0 victory, a result that marked Fiorentina’s maiden defeat after the World Cup break.
Vincenzo Italiano’s men will fancy their chances of bouncing back here against Torino, especially knowing they have two wins and a draw in three home outings in all competitions this month.
Two of these three matches ended with fewer than three goals scored which is important to mention given the next Fiorentina’s opponent is Torino.
The visitors play tight football under Ivan Juric. They are tough to break down but at the same time they struggle to create much in the offensive end.
