Manchester United will be looking to return to winning ways on Saturday afternoon when they play host to Crystal Palace in the 22nd round of the Premier League.
The Red Devils suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of section leaders Arsenal two weeks ago at Emirates Stadium.
It was the maiden failure for Erik ten Hag’s troops since the Boxing Day. United dropped to the fourth position in the league table as a consequence.
They are still three points clear off Tottenham Hotspur in fifth place and they have a game in hand on Antonio Conte’s men, meaning the place in the next term of the UEFA Champions League seems pretty close at this stage of the season.
The Red Devils will come into this tie as big favorites knowing that Crystal Palace have not been pulling up any trees since the World Cup break.
The Glaziers won just one of the previous seven games in all competitions. They have found goals extremely hard to come by in the process.
To make things worse for head coach Patrick Vieira, his top scorer Wilfried Zaha is allegedly ruled out for several weeks through injury.
