Roma will continue their battle for the top-four finish in Serie A on Saturday afternoon when they host Empoli in Gameweek No 21 at Stadio Olimpico.
La Lupa suffered a narrow 2-1 loss at the hands of Napoli last weekend away at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona after conceding a last-gasp goal by Giovanni Simeone.
While it was a painful loss, Jose Mourinho stated how proud he was of his players who gave the sovereign Serie A leaders a genuine game on the occasion.
The Romans now have two wins and a loss in the last three league games and they were also in action on Wednesday night in the Coppa Italia quarterfinal against Cremonese in the capital.
Mourinho’s men are sixth in the league table at the moment, still sitting only three points below second-placed Inter Milan.
