Strasbourg will be searching for their maiden home win of the season on Sunday afternoon when they host Montpellier in Gameweek No 22 of Ligue 1 at Stade de la Meinau.
With the two teams being separated by only five points down in the relegation scrap, we can say this match has all the ingredients of a relegation six-pointer at this stage of the season.
Strasbourg are in a very tough position, sitting third from bottom after 21 rounds. They are four points below the safe zone line.
The hosts have recently made a managerial change by appointing Mathieu Le Scornet in Julien Stephan’s place.
Looking at their roster, Strasbourg certainly deserve to stay in the top flight as their squad is packed with quality all over the place.
