Nantes will be looking to complete the perfect week and pick up their third win in as many games within the last seven days on Sunday afternoon when they host top-half side Lorient in Matchday No 23.
Les Canaris advanced to the Coupe de France quarterfinal by beating Angers on penalties on Wednesday evening. The regular match at Stade Raymond-Kopa ended in a 1-1 stalemate as experienced midfielder Florent Mollet bagged the late equalizer for Nantes.
It is worth noting that head coach Antoine Kombouare mixed up his starting lineup in the mid-week’s cup tie. This could play an important role for Les Canaris who are looking ahead of a tough UEFA Europa League clash against Juventus on Thursday.
