The Old Ladies have responded well to their point deduction and are still charging towards the top four. Up next for Allegri and his boys is the Turin Derby in midweek. Torino is just below Juventus in the league and they have had mixed results ahead of the derby. I'm tipping Juventus to win all three points at home to Torino for two reasons;
[1] Juventus is one of the hottest teams in Italy and they would be in the top two if not for their 15 point deduction. The players look motivated and there's no stopping them at this point. February has been a good month for Massimilliano Allegri and his boys. They have not lost a single game this month, winning all possible points I'm the league and making it to the round of 16 in the UEFA Europa League, courtesy of Angel Di Maria's hattrick. Torino is still below Juventus in the league and at this point they don't look like qualifying for any of the European competitions ahead of next season. Torino has only one win this month and it came at home against Udinese. They have not been very good and all roads in this game lead to a comfortable home win for Juventus.
[2] Torino is one of the teams with the worst record against Juventus. In 23 clashes in the Turin Derby, Torino has won only once. This is a very shocking stat as Juventus are always comfortable against their neighbors. More than 70% of the Turin Derby have ended as wins for Juventus. Earlier this season when Juventus was struggling, they still managed a win over their city rivals and I think they could do even better on their current form. Juventus has not lost at home to Torino in more than a decade, in that period, they have won 10 out of 13 home matches against Turin.
Torino might be in for a shocking defeat against Juventus, they have not been able to win games and they are up against a team that they usually struggle against. I'm predicting Juventus to beat Torino easily here.
