Nice and Lorient share the seventh position in the Ligue 1 standings going into their head to head encounter in the 28th round of the competition on Sunday afternoon at Allianz Riveira.
Both teams have been in good shape lately and we are in for an exciting afternoon of football in south of the country.
Nice are undefeated in eleven consecutive outings across competitions. Caretaker manager Didier Digard has been doing an excellent job since taking over Lucien Favre on the bench.
His team were unfortunate to drop two points in the last weekend’s away game against Nantes, conceding the 88th-minute equalizer at Stade de la Beaujoire – Louis Fonteneau.
Nice were by far the more dangerous team on the pitch, registering as many as 10 attempts on target on the occasion.

Nice are indeed undefeated in eleven straight matches across competitions but we still struggle to recognize the value in backing their win at the 1.61 odds here. The Under 2.5 goals FT seems a much better option at the odds of 1.90 knowing how tough Lorient have been to break down of late.
We do expect Nice to struggle to break the deadlock on Sunday which makes the draw at the half time a great option at the 2.20 odds.
