Augsburg and FC Koln sit right next to each other in the bottom half of the Bundesliga standings going into their head to head clash in Matchday No 27 on Saturday afternoon at WWK Arena.

Augsburg will fancy their chances of claiming the spoils here since they have been fantastic in front of the home crowd in the last couple of months.

Enrico Maassen’s men won four and drew one of the last five home fixtures in the league. They have also shown a decent display in the 2-2 stalemate away at Wolfsburg seven days ago.

Fuggerstadter had an advantage all up until the 95th minute when they conceded the equalizer to drop two points at VOLKSWAGEN ARENA.

FC Koln have had completely different fortunes of late. They have been struggling badly for goals in 2023.

The team led by Steffen Baumgart lost four and drew two of the last six Bundesliga matches. They have scored no more than one goal along the way.
