Arsenal could not hold on to a two-goal lead against Liverpool seven days ago as they had to settle for a point at Anfield after a late Roberto Firmino equalizer.
The 2-2 stalemate against the Reds terminated Arsenal’s seven-win streak in the Premier League and jeopardized the team’s title ambitions in the process.
The Gunners are still six points clear at the top of the table but Manchester City have a game in hand and a chance to beat them in the head to head match later this month at Etihad Stadium.
