Italy and Ukraine have been battling it out throughout the qualification process to see who will finish as runner up behind England and progress to Euro 2024. Now it comes down to this final head-to-head with Ukraine needing to win to qualify automatically.
The two have been some way off the pace set by England but comfortably ahead of North Macedonia and Malta and both recorded big wins coming into this clash.
Ukraine beat Malta 3-1 last time out while Italy got the better of North Macedonia by a scoreline of 5-2.
Italy are favourites for this clash but given the stakes, siding with a high-scoring matchup looks like the more sensible play.

Italy have been involved in a number of entertaining matchups recently and this looks set to be another.
Ukraine’s need to win means they will have to force the initiative at some point and they could leave themselves vulnerable defensively.
Italy won the shot count 22-9 when they beat these opponents 2-1 earlier in the year and a repeat of that scoreline looks a distinct possibility.
