Nottingham Forest have improved following the arrival of Nuno Espirito Santo as manager, losing just two of their seven matches under the Portuguese and recording notable wins away at Newcastle and at home to Manchester United.
The City Ground has certainly been a strong part of Forest’s armoury since their return to the Premier League in 2022, as 42 of the 58 points they have picked up in the top flight since then have come on home soil.
That run includes a 1-0 victory over Arsenal in last season’s corresponding fixture and the Tricky Trees have triumphed in their last three home meetings with the Gunners, which will fill them with belief that they can at least avoid defeat on Tuesday.
Arsenal emphatically snapped a run of just one win in seven across all competitions with a 5-0 home success against Crystal Palace last time out, but their recent struggles on the road are yet to be rectified.
Mikel Arteta’s side are without a win in four away games, while they have recorded just three victories across their last 11 road fixtures, a run that dates back to the end of September.
The Gunners have also kept just one clean-sheet during that run, while Forest have scored twice in all three of their home games under Nuno – this one could end in an entertaining 2-2 draw.
