Fiorentina are going through a bit of a rough patch as they are winless in five (D2, L3) but Friday’s trip to Lecce looks like a good chance to get back to winning ways.
Lecce are a team in a real slump with just one point to show from their last six in Serie A, and they have only managed two goals during that spell.
The reverse fixture finished 2-2 as Fiorentina threw away a two goal lead, with Lecce scoring twice despite managing just two shots on target, but considering the hosts’ current form a repeat looks unlikely here.
La Viola’s winless run has coincided with some tough games as they lost out in the Super Cup to Napoli and went down 1-0 at home to Inter Milan as they returned to Serie A action last time out.
