Borussia Dortmund’s title aspirations are effectively over after an underwhelming first half to the season but the German giants still face a tough battle to make the top four and they can boost their chances against Freiburg on Friday.
Freiburg, who sit a respectable seventh in the Bundesliga table, have lost three of their last five league matches and have conceded exactly three goals in each of these defeats. However, they have scored in 12 of their last 13 Bundesliga assignments and should be able to find the net against a leaky Dortmund defence.
