Racing Santander look too strong on paper for Eldense this Sunday, despite the two Segunda Division clubs being separated by just five points and two places in the table.
This will be Eldense’s first-ever trip to El Sardinero and it is a bit of a long haul for the Alicante-based club. They have lost each of their last two road games to clubs currently below Santander in the standings.
The visitors will come up against a team that are strong at home and still harbour realistic hopes of making the play-offs. They sit only two points behind Burgos in sixth and travel to face that team in a few weeks time.
