Romania enjoyed a good showing at Euro 2024, which took them to the last 16 after an impressive 3-0 group stage win over Ukraine. They won by the same scoreline away to Kosovo in Friday’s Nations League opener and another comfortable win should be on the cards.
Lithuania lost 1-0 at home to Cyprus in their opening game of the group and last year’s Euro 2024 qualifying campaign saw them lose 2-0 in three of their four away trips.
The visitors lost away from home in each of their Nations League games in 2022, justifying Romania’s price as heavy favourites. The hosts won 3-0 when these two met in this competition in 2018 and a repeat of that scoreline is backed here.
This Romanian side have proven capable of hurting poor defences and Lithuania have struggled for results of late, making the hosts look like value at a shade under evens for a win by two clear goals.
