Borussia Dortmund are yet to concede after two games in the Bundesliga but their resolve could well be tested by visitors Heidenheim on Friday.
Heidenheim were one of the surprise packages in Germany’s top tier last season as they finished eighth, qualifying for Europe, after winning promotion as champions in the previous campaign.
It looks as if last season was no fluke for Frank Schmidt’s side as they have made a perfect start to the new term with five wins in as many games in all competitions, scoring 15 goals in the process.
The visitors have scored in 13 consecutive competitive games stretching back into last season, and they should be able to find a way through against their hosts.
Dortmund are the clear favourites and they’ve scored in six consecutive home games, while they have only failed to score in one of their last 16 competitive outings in front of their own fans.
Heidenheim have a perfect record so far but BVB are a level above the teams they have faced so far and a home win looks the most likely result.
