Chelsea have clicked into gear under new manager Enzo Maresca and they can extend their winning run to three games across all competitions when they host a Barrow side who have impressed in the fourth tier so far this season.
The Blues are unbeaten across their last three matches and have won each of their last two to nil in away victories at Bournemouth (1-0) and West Ham (3-0), helping propel the London side to fifth in the Premier League table.
Barrow meanwhile are flying high at the top of League Two – after narrowly missing out on a play-off spot on the final day of last season – and have won each of their last two on the road, although these are their only away victories in any competition in 2024.
This poor run away from Holker Street is likely to hinder Barrow’s chances in what is already a mammoth task for the fourth tier side and they could be in for a long day at the office.
