Celtic head to Perth on Sunday to take on managerless St Johnstone, who are still looking for Craig Levein’s replacement. An announcement might be made before the clash kicks off but whoever takes over will have had little or no time to work with the players ahead of this tough fixture.
Levein was relieved of his duties after a poor start to the season. Saints had won once and lost four of the five Premiership matches he had presided over before they drew 3-3 at Ross County last Saturday under the interim charge of Andy Kirk.
Despite gaining an away point in Dingwall, it was still a disappointing outcome after Saints had led 3-1 with less than 10 minutes to go.

Meanwhile, Celtic are going about as well as anyone – even Brendan Rodgers – could have hoped for after sealing a superb Champions League win over Slovan Bratislava and remaining a perfect five out of five in the league.
That scintillating form, which has seen the Hoops score 14 goals and keep five clean sheets, has already taken them five points clear of Rangers with Aberdeen the only club to cling onto their coattails.
Rodgers’ men can claim another win with a clan sheet at McDiarmid Park as long as they retain their concentration levels while Callum McGregor, who has scored in three of his last league games, looks like a great shout to notch at generous odds.
