Philippe Clement’s Rangers have suffered a dip in form in recent weeks and they may struggle to take all three points on Thursday night when they host an FCSB side that proving to be a force to be reckoned with this season.
The Gers have won just one of their last three matches – losing 4-1 at home to Lyon in their last Europa League encounter as well as being beaten 1-0 by Kilmarnock at the weekend – and they have failed to take all three points in any of their last three continental fixtures.
Romanian champions FCSB meanwhile are on a nine match unbeaten run in all competitions and have won each of their last three to nil – including an impressive 1-0 victory at PAOK in their last Europa League fixture.
Another tight encounter could be in store on Thursday and the form of the hosts makes it difficult to back the Scottish side to win. However, Rangers have avoided defeat in five of their last six at home and they could do so again, with our prediction being a 1-1 draw.
