Villarreal will be pretty content with the way things have been going in the early weeks of the Spanish league season and they should be able to boost their push for a Champions League spot by seeing off Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.

Barca and Atletico Madrid are the only visiting teams to have won a league game at the Estadio de la Ceramica this year, which does not bode well for Rayo Vallecano, who are rarely seen at their best on the travels.
Vallecano are not strong travellers
The visitors posted an impressive 2-1 win at Real Sociedad on the opening weekend of the season, but they seldom get their act together on the road, as they found the net in just three of their last 12 away games.
That run included a 3-0 defeat at Villarreal in April and with their hosts having scored at least twice in six of their last eight home games, a 2-0 home win is recommended as a correct-score selection this time.
