Celtic should find a way to kill off a Hearts team that are better than their lowly league position suggests when they travel to Tynecastle to face the Jambos on Saturday evening.
After Neil Critchley’s appointment produced an immediate upturn in results, things began to tail off for Hearts before the international break as they lost back-to-back games against Heidenheim and Rangers.
They are lacking a bit of finesse in attack and a record of just 14 goals in 13 league games indicates where their priorities must lie come the opening of the January transfer window.

The Edinburgh club have failed to score in all three of their clashes against the Old Firm clubs this term and it looks unlikely that they will get many chances to register against a crack Celtic defence this weekend.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have kept nine clean sheets in 11 Premiership matches and conceded only once in six away league trips. Backing the Hoops to return to Glasgow with another three points and a shut out makes plenty of sense in these circumstances.
A 2-0 road win looks a worthwhile play in correct score betting too because Celtic have scored at least two goals in all of their domestic away games and exactly twice in half of them. Hearts are yet to concede more than two in any home game and have only shipped more than a brace in one of their last 10 in all competitions.
