Atalanta have barely put a foot wrong this season and Gian Piero Gasperini’s men can continue their strong campaign when they visit a Young Boys side that has struggled when playing in Europe’s elite competition.
La Dea are on a run of 11 games unbeaten, winning nine, and are yet to lose a game in this season’s Champions League – as well as keeping clean sheets in each of their meetings with Arsenal, Celtic (both 0-0), Shakhtar Donetsk (3-0) and Stuttgart (2-0).
Young Boys meanwhile have lost all four Champions League games this season – scoring just one goal in the process – and their tally of 11 goals conceded is one of the worst in the competition, being bettered only by Red Star (16), Slovan Bratislava (15) and Dinamo Zagreb (12).
The hosts could be in for a difficult day at the office and the dominance of Atalanta should shine on Tuesday. The visitors are yet to concede on the road this season and this feat could be replicated once again, with our prediction being a 3-0 win for La Dea.
