Kettering overcame League One Northampton after extra time in round one
The Poppies will miss suspended midfielder Devon Kelly-Evans but other key men were rested at the weekend
Doncaster will have to dig deep against Kettering
Doncaster travel to Latimer Park for a high noon showdown against Kettering Town in the FA Cup and the League Two high-flyers may face some difficulties.
Although Rovers will start the match as big favourites against a side three divisions below them, they will be tested by a well-drilled team on a difficult pitch.
The Poppies overcame League One strugglers Northampton in round one after extra time with former Newcastle striker Nile Ranger coming up with the winner.
Poppies are capable of another upset
Manager Rich Lavery will have to do without one of his round-one heroes here after midfielder Devon Kelly-Evans was sent off following a scuffle between players at the end of Kettering’s league match against Bedford Town this month.
Lavery rested key plays like Luca Miller and Isiah Noel-Williams on Saturday in readiness for this clash and the home crowd, sticky surface and magic of the cup could produce a nail-biting contest.
Back both teams to score and over 2.5 goals in the clash as it has landed in four of Kettering’s last five games. Doncaster have no reason to shut up shop as they would want to avoid extra time and they played a very strong XI in the first round at Barrow.
Predictions:Both Teams To Score and Over 2.5 Match Goals Draw 2-2
