The Clarets took a 2-0 win from Stoke in their weekend fixture to extend their unbeaten run to five matches. They have won the last four of these and have not conceded a single goal in this period.
Scott Parker’s side have conceded just six goals in 18 league games this season and only two in their last dozen assignments, resulting in under 2.5 goals landing in all 12 of these fixtures.
Boro have been a far more adventurous side recently, but fewer than three goals have been scored in ten of their games so far and they recently suffered their third 1-0 defeat of the season, making under 2.5 goals and a third 1-0 win in five games for Burnley the best betting options.
