PSG have not enjoyed the happiest of Champions League campaigns so far this season and the Parisians could be in for another winless trip in Europe when they visit Austrian champions Salzburg, who are searching for their first home continental points.
Luis Enrique’s men have won just one of their five matches in this seasons competition while the French giants are also currently on a run of three matches without a win – with their 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich followed up by consecutive Ligue 1 draws against Nantes (1-1) and Auxerre (0-0).
Salzburg meanwhile have lost four of their five Champions League fixtures so far – their sole reprieve being a 3-1 win at Feyenoord – and they have so far failed to excite at the Red Bull Arena, failing to score in both home matches so far against Brest (4-0) and Dinamo Zagreb (2-0).
With the Austrians yet to score at home and PSG yet to net on the road in this competition, all signs point towards a tight affair. Salzburg have drawn two of their last three matches while PSG have drawn both of their last two and so another stalemate could be on the cards, with our prediction being a goalless tie.
