Leaky Posh may fall at Edgeley Park
Stockport have enjoyed three straight wins at home in League One and can beat Peterborough on Friday.
Stockport are fifth in League One, nine points and eight places above Peterborough. The hosts have nine wins, six draws and five defeats from their 20 games this season, while the visitors have seven wins, three draws and nine losses.
Peterborough ended a three-game losing streak with a 4-3 win over Crawley on Saturday, but they lost 2-1 to Northampton last week in their most recent away game.
Peterborough’s defence has been leaking goals on their travels. They have conceded 16 goals away from home this season in League One – an average of two per game from eight matches – and have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last nine on the road.
Stockport have been strong at home recently, winning four of their last five League One games at Edgeley Park and remaining unbeaten in six of the last seven.
Stockport are in excellent form at home and can extend their winning run against a Peterborough side who are struggling this season. Back Stockport to secure the victory.
