Visitors vying to extend sensational run
Two of the most in-form sides in Italy will do battle in the capital on Saturday when Atalanta, who are leading the way in the Serie A, arrive at the Stadio Olimpico for a clash with fourth-placed Lazio.
Given they are on an 11-game win streak in Serie A, it is unsurprising to see the visitors come into this clash as favourites.
La Dea have netted a mammoth 31 goals in that sensational run and they will not be fearing anything in the capital, especially after watching Lazio get thrashed 6-0 by Inter Milan in their last home game.
Capital clash could be a thriller
Lazio were also beaten 3-1 by Parma at the start of the month and after a strong start to the season, it is now up in the air whether they have the defensive resilience to maintain their lofty league position.
With that in mind, and Atalanta in dangerous form, it seems likely that goals may flow at the Stadio Olimpico.
The hosts could help bring up a decent tally too, given they have netted at least twice in their previous seven league home games before the routing by Inter, further increasing the appeal of backing overs.
