Inter lost the Super Cup final to rivals AC Milan, but their hopes of retaining the Italian title were boosted with Sunday’s 1-0 victory at Venezia. That routine win wasn’t exactly eye-catching, but it means Inter have now won six of their last seven games.
The Nerazzurri have kept a clean sheet in all six of those victories and that fine run can continue in Wednesday’s clash with Bologna.
The Rossoblu have dropped off this term since Thiago Motta departed along with a host of key players, but they’re still pushing for a European spot under Vincenzo Italiano. However, the visitors have struggled in their biggest tests of the campaign so far, losing 3-0 at Napoli and Lazio.
Inter aren’t firing on all cylinders, but they can hold the visitors at bay. The Nerazzurri have won to nil in 10 of their 18 league games this term, so they’re well-priced to repeat that against a Bologna team who have struggled in their toughest trips so far.
