A strong run of form around Christmas has put Leyton Orient in the thick of the battle for a League One playoff place and they will fancy their chances of taking advantage of any hangover Manchester City may be suffering from their 5-1 thumping at Arsenal on Sunday.
It was the most recent setback of what has been a stormy season for the Citizens, but Orient will be well-advised not to take the task lightly as Pep Guardiola’s side showed no mercy in thumping Salford 8-0 in the last round.

City’s class should eventually tell
Emulating that statistics may be beyond the O’s, especially as they have netted just 19 goals in their 15 home league matches this season, but they could hit the target so it is worth chancing that City win the match with both teams scoring.
