Valencia have enjoyed two straight home wins in the Primera Liga and they should be backed to get the better of Leganes on Sunday to make it a hat-trick.
Leganes are three places above Valencia in the table, but both teams have lost more games than they’ve won. Leganes sit 16th with five wins and nine defeats, while Valencia are 19th with four wins and 11 losses.
Leganes’ recent form has been inconclusive, with two wins, two draws and two defeats in their last six games. They drew 0-0 with Athletic Bilbao two weeks ago on their last Primera Liga away day.
Valencia have been single-goal winners in two of their last three games and a narrow 2-1 success looks like the most likely outcome here as Los Che battle to avoid the drop in what is a key relegation six-pointer.
