Midtjylland no pushovers for Sociedad
Real Sociedad head to Denmark to take on Midtjylland in a Europa League play-off first leg on Thursday.
The Spanish outfit are the clear favourites to win the tie and they may be able to take a lead back to the Anoeta, but the best bet here could be both teams to score.
This competition has been Midtjylland’s only priority for a while but their domestic campaign resumes at the weekend, while Sociedad have had to juggle their commitments at home and in Europe.

Midtjylland scored in all four of their home league phase games – and they faced some tough teams during that period including Eintracht Frankfurt and Fenerbahce. La Real’s greater quality should see them prevail over the course of the tie and they can take a slim lead back to Spain. Oskarsson had a goal chalked off for his former side when he last faced Mitdjylland but can help Sociedad seize the advantage with an anytime effort on Thursday.
