Hammers enjoy much-needed boost
West Ham stunned Premier League title challengers Arsenal on Saturday and they could follow that result by clinching back-to-back wins for the first time since August when they host the struggling Leicester.
The Hammers are mired down in 16th place in the Premier League, but they hold a 13-point lead over Thursday’s visitors and have earned points against Arsenal, Aston Villa, Fulham, and Southampton since Christmas.
Foxes look destined for the drop
Leicester’s 4-0 defeat at home to Brentford leaves them five points adrift of safety after Wolves secured a massive result on Saturday, and it was the Foxes’ fourth-successive defeat in all competitions.
Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side did pick up a win at Tottenham last month, but that is the only time they have avoided defeat in the league in their last 11 attempts and only the second time they have picked up points away from home against a team currently outside the relegation zone.

West Ham look like justified favourites against the relegation-threatened visitors and, with Leicester failing to score in five of their last six league fixtures, a repeat of West Ham’s 1-0 scoreline on Saturday could be on the cards.
