Six of Milan’s last eight at home have seen both teams score
The hosts have kept two clean sheets across 11 clashes with top-half sides in Serie A
The visitors have lost four of five visits to the league’s top 10
Back goals with both sides struggling
AC Milan have hit a rough patch of form following three defeats in their previous five, which has knocked them out of the Champions League and dented their hopes of a return to the competition.
However, visitors Lazio lost to Inter Milan at San Siro in midweek, the latest setback for them in big games. The Biancocelesti have suffered defeats in four of their five trips to sides in the top-half of the Serie A table.
Milan’s return of two victories against the top 10 points to issues for both sides, with the Rossoneri keeping only two clean sheets across those 11 matches.
Both teams have scored in each of Milan’s previous three matches and the same has landed in six of their last eight at home. Lazio average over a goal per game on their travels but their issues against top sides count against them here, so backing both teams to score and a 2-2 draw is the way to go.
