Rossoneri to claim victory
Milan are the bet away at Lecce on Saturday. The hosts have failed to win seven of their last eight home games in Serie A and it’s five matches since they last tasted victory at Via Del Mare.
The Rossoneri are nine places above Lecce in the table, with the two sides separated by 16 points. Milan sit ninth with 11 wins, eight draws and eight losses, while Lecce are 16th with six wins, seven draws and 14 defeats.
Lecce’s 1-0 defeat away to Fiorentina last week was their second consecutive Serie A loss. Lecce were priced at 18/5 to win the game so the result wasn’t a surprise, but Fiorentina had been on a run of three straight defeats and Lecce will be disappointed not to have got something from the match.
Goals have been hard to come by for Lecce at home this season. They have now gone four consecutive games without finding the net and, with just nine goals in 13 matches, they are averaging less than a goal a game.
Milan have kept Lecce at bay in recent encounters, having shut them out in three of the last four Serie A meetings.
They can edge this, with a 1-0 correct score in favour of the visitors looking like a decent bet. Seven of Milan’s 11 victories this season have been by one goal and Lecce have sustained five 1-0 defeats.
