Under 2.5 goals looks the best bet for Saturday’s League Two clash between Notts County and Crewe at Meadow Lane.
Notts County are fifth in League Two with 17 wins, ten draws and ten defeats, while Crewe are eighth with 14 wins, 15 draws and eight losses. Notts County have four points more than Crewe.
Notts County are struggling, with three reverses in their last four League Two games. In contrast, Crewe have recorded five victories in the last seven league head-to-heads between the teams, although they have played out two straight stalemates.
Crewe have been impressive defensively away from home this season, conceding just 17 goals in 19 games – an average of 0.89 goals per game.
This suggests a low-scoring affair is on the cards at Meadow Lane.
In three of the last four League Two meetings between these sides at least one team has failed to score, and Notts County to win 1-0 at home looks a decent choice in the correct-score betting with the Magpies value to bounce back to form.
