Stockport can continue home form
Stockport are the likely winners when Rotherham visit Edgeley Park on Saturday. Stockport have been good at home this season, winning 13 of their League One games, while Rotherham have won five of their away matches.
Stockport are fourth in League One, eight places and 20 points above Rotherham, with 21 wins, 11 draws and nine losses.
Stockport’s 2-0 win at Exeter was their fourth victory in five League One games. Stockport, who were priced as 21/20 favourites, had the game killed off by half time and have won 20 of the 26 matches in which they’ve scored first this season (77%).
Stockport are in form at home, having avoided defeat in nine of their last ten League One games. They have been winners in six of the last seven and come into this match on the back of two straight successes.
It would be no surprise to see Stockport score, having netted two goals or more in three consecutive League One games. They have also averaged 1.39 goals a game in their 18 matches against other top-half teams this season.
Stockport have kept four shutouts in their last six games in League One, and Rotherham will likely struggle to break them down.
A 2-0 home win for Stockport looks a decent correct-score option. Seven of their 21 league wins this season have come by that scoreline, and five of their last six League One games have ended with at least one side failing to score.
