The worst and the best defensive lines in the Premier League will come across each other on Saturday afternoon as Bournemouth host Newcastle in Matchday No 23 at Vitality Stadium.
The match has a big significance for both outfits who are fighting different types of battles in this term of the competition.
Bournemouth are currently second from bottom in the league ladder. They are one point shy of Leeds and Everton at the moment.
However, the Cherries will desperately need to find a way out of the current crisis if they want to keep ground on the rest of the pack in the battle for avoiding the relegation.
Gary O’Neil’s men lost seven and drew one of the previous eight outings in all competitions. The latest of the failures came seven days ago when the Cherries conceded an 88th-minute goal to lose 1-0 at the hands of the in-form Brighton side.
