High-flying Wycombe can raid Stevenage
Wycombe are worth backing to win at Stevenage on Boxing Day.
The visitors have gone ten games without losing on the road in League One and have won seven of their last nine away from home.
Wycombe are 12 places above Stevenage in the table and have 18 points more. Stevenage are 14th with seven wins, five draws and seven losses, while Wycombe are second, having won 13 and lost just twice.
It would be no surprise to see Wycombe get on the scoresheet – they have notched 43 goals in 20 games this season, more than any other team in League One. They have also averaged over two goals a game in their 11 matches against bottom-half sides which bodes well for this trip to the Lamex Stadium.
Stevenage played out a 0-0 draw with Blackpool on Saturday, but they were up against a side who had won three straight games, and face another in-form team in Wycombe, who were 4-1 winners at Shrewsbury in their last league away match.
A 2-1 win for Wycombe looks a decent correct-score bet, with eight of their 13 League One victories this season having come by a single goal and two of their seven away victories have been by a 2-1 margin.
