Back goals as Blues chase another victory
Birmingham have found the net in all nine of their League One home games this season and there should be over 2.5 goals when Chris Davies’ side host Burton Albion at St. Andrew’s.
Birmingham are 22 places and 33 points above Burton in the table and are understandably strong favourites to cement top spot.
They lead League One with 14 wins, three draws and two defeats, while Burton are 23rd with two wins, six draws and 12 losses.
Birmingham are on a good run, having won their last five League One matches and enjoyed two straight successes at home with a pair of 2-0 wins over Stockport and Bristol Rovers.
With Birmingham such short-priced favourites, finding betting angles is not easy but Birmingham have scored at least twice in five of their last six league games, and 11 of Burton 20 matches this season have over 2.5 goals. Going for goals looks best.
These are tough times for Burton, with four of their last six games ending in defeat.
Birmingham have enjoyed two straight League One successes at home and may be able to edge out Burton Albion, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick.
They have been single-goal winners in two of their last three games in the league, while Burton have gone down by a single goal eight times this season.
