Zaragoza scrapping relegation
Real Zaragaoza are right in the relegation mix in the Segunda Division and given their current form it is hard to fancy them when they host midtable Cordoba on Monday.
The visitors have only lost one of their last seven games and are still in with a shot at a play-off spot, currently sitting seven points back of sixth-placed Oviedo.
By contrast Zaragoza are just one point above the relegation zone after taking just three points from the last 21 available, losing four and drawing three of their last seven outings.
Gabi’s men were in a play-off spot after 15 games but their recent form has seen them tumble down the standings.
Both teams to score
They have conceded eight goals in their last two games and it is hard to see why they are odds-on to get the victory against an in-form opponent.
The home team also have big disciplinary issues, they have had a player sent off in three of their last seven games, and that is just another reason not to fancy Los Manos.
Take Cordoba to deepen Zaragoza’s woes and at least avoid defeat in this clash.
Both teams have scored in five of Zaragoza’s last six games and correct score backers should keep a 2-1 away win on side.
