Go for goals as SKC head to Houston
Kansas City have struggled at the back this season, and both teams to get a goal is the bet when they visit Houston on Sunday.
Both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season, but Kansas City 13th in the Western Conference, seven points below Houston. The visitors are 27th with three wins and eight defeats, while Houston have won five and lost six.
Houston beat Minnesota United 2-0 in their last home game two weeks ago and are unbeaten in seven of their last eight at home to Kansas City.
The visitors have recorded only one victory in their last six MLS games.
Four of the last five MLS meetings between these sides have seen both teams find the net and that is the best bet again here.
Houston have failed to keep a clean sheet in seven of their last nine MLS games against Kansas City and the visitors have conceded 27 goals this season – an average of 1.80 goals per game from 15 matches.
It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking like a decent correct-score bet. The last MLS meeting between these sides featured three goals but four of the previous six had under 2.5 goals.
