Brighton and Liverpool will meet each other in one of the most exciting games of Matchday No 20 on Saturday afternoon at The AMEX.
The Seagulls have been scoring goals for fun lately. They bagged nine in the last two games in all competitions, beating Everton 1-4 in the league and Middlesbrough 1-5 in the FA Cup along the way.
Roberto De Zerbi can be thrilled with his outfit’s recent attacking form. Brighton have won two of three Premier League outings since the World Cup break. They have scored at least three goals in these two wins and two more in the home loss to Arsenal (2-4).
We expect the hosts to have plenty of room to create here as well against Liverpool who have been one of the weakest defensive e teams in the league since the World Cup break.
The Reds have not kept a clean sheet in any of the last five games since December 22nd. They allowed five goals in the last two outings against Brentford and Wolves.
To make things worse for the visitors, their back line will be even weaker as Virgil van Dijk is sidelined for this match through injury.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are currently only one point above Brighton in the Premier League standings. They have won only two of eight away matches so far in the season.
